Overview
Immediate opening for a full-time fuel truck operator and dump truck driver at our Odenton, MD location. Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement required. Responsible for driving fuel truck to various jobsites to fuel on and off road equipment. Other duties include tri-axle dump truck and snow/salt clearing operations. Individual will perform daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections and be required to maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform all pre/post trip inspections
- Follow all safety procedures while operating vehicle and fulfilling deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork for tickets and daily logs
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement required
- Experience driving fuel truck with manual transmission
- Must be able to demonstrate safe driving and fueling procedures
- Must have clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card
- Pass mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be able to obtain security clearance
Experience
- Must be skilled in driving commercial vehicle with manual transmission
- Minimum 1 year driving experience with CDL
